A FAMILY MISSION at the BIZARRE BAZAAR

Alice Siegel began The Bizarre Bazaar® in 1975 as a quality Christmas retail gift show providing a marketplace and springboard for cottage industry, talented crafts persons, unique new shops, boutiques, small businesses, exciting new gift lines, recognized artists of varied media and a few select non-profit groups.  She has recently handed over the reins to her daughter, Eliza Branch.

Eliza brings her fresh perspective to the show while keeping the tradition moving into our 50th year and beyond!   As an all-woman owned business, The Bizarre Bazaar® continues to lead the industry in presenting the finest shows available!

Our Mission is twofold: To introduce unique, high-quality products and gifts to the Richmond market by providing a springboard for talented makers and unique exhibitors, and to provide a festive setting while supporting fundraising efforts and awareness for the nonprofit organizations with whom we partner.

Alice Siegel

Founder + Fearless Leader

Alice established the show in 1975 as a means to sell homemade crafts, jewelry, clothing and gourmet foods with her friends. You will still find her adding her special touch to the floral arrangements and decor every year.

After "growing up" with the show and taking part in all behind- the-scenes activities for years, I am proudly taking the reigns from my Fearless Leader mother Alice and keeping it in the family!
